The food here is outstanding! Service is prompt and very friendly! My wife and I came for breakfast. Definitely looking forward to trying out their lunch offering! The look of the restaurant is very well taken care of. Restroom was very clean. You can tell the staff here takes pride in their food as well restaurant.
A local gem with the warmest team. We impromptu popped in for dinner on our way to a small event and sheepishly let the staff know we only had 30 mins, and they so kindly welcomed us in and said no problem. The staff was so attentive and we never once felt rushed, they were so gracious. We ordered the chicken madeira and chicken alfredo pasta and both dishes were so flavorful! We both completely finished our plates! It was such a good meal, I can't wait to go back and try more. They consistently checked in on us and we were well taken care of. We were in and out in under 30 mins and had a yummy dinner. On our way out, they even got to the door before us to open it for us and thank us. These are the type of local small businesses I love to support: quality people, quality product. I hope they thrive! So glad we decided to pop in that night, we will definitely be back!
Went here for a great weekend lunch. I was very impressed. Everything about the service, the atmosphere, and the food were perfect. It was a little crowded at noon on a Saturday but not too bad. The ice tea was great. Even thought it was unsweetened, it had some pieces of fruit in it. Very festive! The fish and chips were great. Fish wasn't oily and it was crispy. Fries were crispy in that double-fried way. Cole slaw was also good. My crab melt was perfect. Just warm enough and just enough filling. The sourdough bread it was on was nice and toasty. The cup of chicken vegetable soup was great. You could actually see and taste the chicken pieces. Really flavorful. This was a good experience. Will come back to try breakfast favorites sometime.
came here for dinner not too long ago & loved our experience!! everything from the food to service was so positive. we had 2 dogs & they were very accommodating in their outdoor seating area, even bringing them a water bowl. service in general was very attentive & so nice! the food was great--we ordered a variety of different meals including the Cioppino, Steak, Wet Carnitas Burrito, & Pasta Primavera. we especially loved the Cioppino & liked the option to add pasta as well. not pictured, but we also had the Affogato which was the perfect way to end the meal. definitely check this place out when in the Livermore area!
We came here for a late lunch. They are located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, and outside seating is available. My daughter and I had the crab melt sandwich, which was delicious. She got hers with a side salad, while I chose sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the fries were a disappointment: they were overcooked, and you would have thought they would have at least have been crispy, but they were not. But other than that, everything else was good, including my husband's roast beef sandwich. Their ice tea is an unusual color, a sort of magenta tint. According to my daughter, who ordered an Arnold Palmer, the tea had a slight hibiscus taste. My husband's iced tea came with berries on top.
Love love love. We had such a good dinner here. I have seen so many people rave about Polos corner on Livermore rants and raves Facebook group. We finally found some time and made it for dinner on a Saturday. I made reservations earlier that day and got right in. The server did forget our appetizer but brought it right out when we asked about it. Their menu in person is way more expansive than online.
First visit to Polo's Corner and it definitely won't be the last! My friends and I enjoyed our brunch. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the place was busy. We didn't have to wait long despite not having a reservation. We sat outside on the covered patio. It was comfortable with a heat lamp nearby. The service was attentive and our water glasses were always full. I love that this restaurant is a family owned and run business. We all ordered different savory breakfast items with a sweet treat to share. My Veggie Benedict was full of veggies, avocado, two perfectly poached eggs over a portobello mushroom and topped with a pineapple Serrano sauce. The sauce was too sweet for me and I would have enjoyed my eggs even more without it. The house country potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft inside. The potatoes had bell peppers and onions as well. We shared the Mixed Berry Crepes which had berries, Nutella and fresh whipped cream. It was a delicious combination. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Can't wait to try more items on the menu!
